• that may be defamatory, threatening, indecent, obscene, offensive, pornographic, abusive, discriminatory, in breach of contract or duty of confidence or privacy or which may cause annoyance to any third party;
• which constitutes or encourages conduct that would be considered a criminal offence, gives rise to civil liability, or would otherwise be contrary to the law of or infringe the rights of any third party, in the UK or any other country in the world;
• which is technically harmful to the site or other users (which includes, but is not limited to, computer viruses, trojans, worms, harmful components, corrupted data or other malicious software or harmful data) or is otherwise calculated to bring our website into disrepute.

When you have uploaded your film it will be reviewed by a member of the North East Movies team. We aim to review your film within 72 hours, usually it is much quicker than this but occasionally during periods of high activity it may take slightly longer. If approved, your film will be published to the website. If there is any problem with your film, you will be contacted via email.

If your film contains adult themes or language it may be necessary for us to place a click through screen before your film, making users aware of the content and requesting them to confirm they are 18 or over prior to allowing access to view or download.

As a member of North East Movies you can post comments on other user’s films.

Feedback is part of the experience, and when done with respect, can be a great way to learn, share and make your time on North East Movies more valuable.

Please keep your comments respectful and relevant, so they can be enjoyed by the full North East Movies community.

Please do not post news, advertising or links in the Comments section – they will be removed.

We operate a self policing community approach to the posting of comments. All comments are posted live but any user may report a comment as inappropriate. The North East Movies team will then review and remove the comment if necessary.

As a member of North East Movies you can post news to your User Profile page and keep your viewers up to date with your film and company news.

Please keep your news posts relevant to your films, film making or film company news.

Do moderate your content. It is your responsibility to ensure that what you upload is appropriate. If your judgement proves to be poor, we will moderate your account and in extreme cases close your account.

Think before you press the publish button. Remember that this is a public forum, and your words will be archived on this site.
