Description: Northern Film & Media is proud to present five short films commissioned as part of our Micro Movie Classics Scheme. Each film was made by filmmakers in the region who took their inspiration from a selection of classic stories including The Fall of the House of Usher, Alice in Wonderland and The Wind in the Willows. This innovative scheme was run in collaboration with Shudder Films and now you can have your say and vote for your favourite film. There will be 2 winning films, one voted for by you and the other awarded by a panel from the Story Engine screen writer’s conference. Prizes include free passes to next year's Story Engine conference, lunch with screenwriter Lisa Holdsworth, a subscription to the online magazine twelevepoint.com and camera and editing packages offered by Steadi-Red and Superkrush films.
