Series Title: BORO BITES BACK!

Description: Boro Bites Back is a 90 second shorts scheme set up by Northern Film & Media to offer a different take on Middlesbrough. Six shorts have been commissioned which we feel present a unique window on the town infamous for being nominated as the worst place to live in the UK. Using drama, documentary and animation, North East filmmakers have produced an eclectic range of films for the Boro Bites Back web page, all of which can be viewed online and downloaded to your mobile phone, iPod or Sony PSP. You can comment on these films, upload your own Boro vid and vote for your favourite short from the series. Congratulations to Mat Fleming, director of 'Establishing Shots' who won the Boro Bites Back online public vote. The winning film was announced at a special Boro Bites Back screening as part of Digital City’s Concept Film Night in Middlesbrough on 23rd April.
