UK Film Council John Brabourne Award - Young Film makers abd Film Students

A unmissable opportunity for film students and young film makers

UK Film Council John Brabourne Award

This award carries a maximum value of £10,000 and is a match funded award between the UK Film Council and the CTBF.

The aim of this award is to support a talented individual to achieve their goal in film.  This person will be on the cusp of furthering their career and expanding their experience through a significant opportunity that is in their grasp but not yet realised.

This award is partly funded by the UKFC. One of the aims of the UKFC is to broaden the social, economic and cultural mix of the film industry. People from diverse backgrounds, or backgrounds that are potentially under-represented in UK film, are encouraged to apply.

The award can be used for an education programme, relevant scheme or a significant opportunity for work experience or furthering your professional skill base.

This is also funded by the CTBF, the trade charity for film and commercial television who wish to help those who may have been disadvantaged in some way or suffered set backs in their career such as illness, disability or financial problems.

Applications are strongly urged from all up and coming film makers who may fit the criteria above and can prove that this cash award will significantly help them with their career path.
