Flip Side is a call to action for the people of the North East.

Northern Film & Media through Flip Side want to start a debate about what makes us who we are.  Flip Side is an opportunity to discuss what kind of world we want to help create and live in, and what we ‘d like to be seen as offering the world.

Flip Side has asked 20 volunteers with various social backgrounds to ask 20 individuals the five questions:

• What keeps you awake at night?
• What object represents you?
• What is unique about you?
• What is the thing you most value as an individual?
• What one thing would make your life better?

Each question is one flip-film, which means we have about 2000 films for you to watch - and that’s a-lot of opinions to digest!

Flip Side is always interested in your views, thoughts and beliefs, and we hope the flip-films have inspired you to think about the identity of the region, your community and yourself.  So go ahead and upload your own film or type a response in the ‘your shout’ section on the home page.
