Description: Set in modern day Northern England this short story is a chapter in the life of Yasmin & her children,Daniel & Laila who moved to the UK as refugees from the Middle East ten years ago. At a time of personal sadness for her, tensions develop between mother and son as she tries to maintain cultural & family values whilst he becomes increasingly Westernized.
