I get your point regarding the voiceless female but I still say that we don't actually see any female victim being brutilised - it's all implied by the shot at the end. The dark side of love thing I would imagine is about the fact that the audience at first think that this is a normal discussion between brothers about love but as we all know, come the ending it is far more darker than we expect, at least that's what I thought when I first viewed it. I've done a little research into this short and it was runner-up in the Propeller TV shortfest drama award last year so obviously not all filmmakers/critics think the film is as bad as what you think. But hey, we're all entitled to our opinions right? That's my last word on the matter...

And don't get me wrong, I am all for encouraging new talent in the region and I am sure a lot of effort went into the film, but I am sick of gratuitous images of brutalised women, used here with no justification, and I know a lot of other film lovers feel the same way.
